Job summary

Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa in San Diego seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and train the housekeeping team, ensuring top standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will oversee inspections, VIP room prep, and daily task coordination to maintain efficient operations and high service levels.

The role requires 2–3 years in housekeeping with a year in a lead role, weekend/holiday availability, and bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience running a shift, scheduling, performance management, problem solving, and running day-to-day operations.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred; Creole and/or French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms using the Total Score Inspection Report.
• Inspect and release guest rooms using a tablet system as needed.
• Train, coach, and support Room Attendants and Housemen to ensure adherence to hotel cleaning standards and quality SOPs.
• Inspect Housemen’s work daily and provide feedback, including formal reviews weekly.
• Prepare and oversee VIP rooms, showrooms, and priority rooms, ensuring completion.
• Assign and monitor daily cleaning tasks, including general and window cleaning.
• Ensure occupied rooms are serviced and vacancies reported accurately.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and policy violations.
• Assist during peak periods and multiple rush requests.
