Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor in Orlando to lead room attendants and related staff, ensuring HEI standards of product and service are met. You will hire, train, and evaluate team members, manage schedules and payroll, and maintain accurate budgeting records.

The role requires at least 2 years in housekeeping, strong leadership, and clear communication skills, with a focus on timely service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2 years housekeeping experience, preferably in a comparable hotel.
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and ensure goals are met.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staff of room attendants, house persons, and inspectors; conducts meetings and ensures standards are met.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate performance, and address issues with staff.
• Schedule staff, manage payroll records, and ensure on-time pay and proper room allocations.
• Maintain and review computerized records for budgeting and forecasting of department expenses.
• Communicate directions clearly to staff, in writing or verbally.
• Be available to work regularly and comply with attendance rules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
