InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Housekeeping Manager for maternity leave coverage in New York. You will lead a team to uphold impeccable housekeeping and laundry standards, manage inventories, assist with budgeting, and ensure safety compliance while meeting guest requests.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in housekeeping/room operations with supervisory experience and fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years total experience in Housekeeping/Room Operations.
• Direct supervisory experience over a housekeeping team.
• English required; Mandarin or Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing, coaching, and developing a team dedicated to exceptional housekeeping and laundry standards.
• Maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment while minimizing waste.
• Helping to refine and prepare budgets to maximize profitability.
• Addressing special guest requests, VIPs, repeat visitors and VIP Club members.
• Assisting with deep cleaning projects and busy periods, ensuring safety compliance.
