Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Lead for NGIS Norfolk. This role leads housekeeping teams, inspects guest rooms and public spaces, and ensures adherence to program standards across all areas including laundry and storage facilities.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining supply levels, and performing daily inspections to guarantee guest satisfaction. High School diploma is required with 6 months housekeeping experience preferred.

• Leadership or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and pass on to Housekeeping Attendants information from supervisor.
• Train and demonstrate proper work methods for personnel.
• Ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain supplies and linen inventories; ensure availability of materials.
• Perform daily inspections of rooms and carts and document results.
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of breakfast services when applicable.
• Maintain privacy and security of guests at all times.
