The Village of St. Edward Communities is seeking a Floor Care Worker at our Wadsworth location. You will perform floor care, stripping, waxing, and refinishing, and may fill in for Laundry and Housekeeping.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, focused on clean, safe, welcoming spaces for residents. We offer a faith-based not-for-profit environment with competitive wages, benefits, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently; more with assistance.
• Ability to operate floor care equipment and perform stripping, waxing, refinishing.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform bending/reaching tasks.

Responsabilités

• Fill in for Laundry and Housekeeping as needed.

We are seeking an individual who is Committed, Kind, Knowledgeable and Respectful to assume the Floor Care Worker position at our Wadsworth location.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

In accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the floor care worker is responsible to perform all types of floor care and other related types of work including filling in for the Laundry and Housekeeping Departments. Demonstrates basic knowledge of general floor care, stripping, waxing and refinishing. Able to work independently with little supervision.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. independently and over 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Possess the necessary dexterity to operate levers, buttons, machinery, etc.
• Possess the ability to bend, stoop, and reach at different angles.
• May stand on feet for long periods of time.
