Job summary

The Village of St. Edward is a not-for-profit organization seeking a Driver/Chauffeur to transport residents and materials safely in accordance with traffic regulations.

The role requires a valid Ohio driver’s license and a good driving record, with CDL preferred but not required. Based at our Fairlawn Campus, this position offers a welcoming work environment, generous paid time off, tuition and certification reimbursement, and employee wellness programs as part of a comprehensive benefits

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in Nursing Home/Hospital type setting or experience working with older adults preferred.
• Must be at least 26 years of age.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Ohio CDL preferred but not required.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

In accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the chauffeur is responsible for the operation of the passenger vans and automobile in safely transporting people, equipment, materials and supplies in accordance with traffic regulations.

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent.
• One (1) year experience in Nursing Home/Hospital type setting or experience working with older adults preferred.
• Must be at least 26 years of age.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record required
• Ohio Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) preferred but does not need
