The Village of St. Edward in Wadsworth, OH is seeking a Floor Care Worker to perform floor care, stripping, waxing and refinishing. You will fill in for Laundry and Housekeeping as needed and work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently, or with assistance.
• Dexterity to operate levers, buttons, machinery, etc.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and stand for long periods.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

In accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the floor care worker is responsible to perform all types of floor care and other related types of work including filling in for the Laundry and Housekeeping Departments. Demonstrates basic knowledge of general floor care, stripping, waxing and refinishing. Able to work independently with little supervision.

Requirements:

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. independently and over 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Possess the necessary dexterity to operate levers, buttons, machinery, etc.
• Possess the ability to bend, stoop, and reach at different angles.
• May stand on feet for long periods of time.
