Job summary

Avera Grassland Campus in Mitchell, SD seeks a part-time Environmental Services worker to maintain a clean, safe environment in patient rooms, lounges, hallways and public areas. Shifts run 3:30pm-11:30pm with every fourth weekend rotation. You will stock supplies, assist with linens, and uphold patient-focused CARE. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience. Excellent teamwork and communication are essential for success.

Work where you matter.A Brief OverviewResponsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas which may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.What you will doMaintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.Maintain good customer relations at all times.May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.Essential QualificationsThe individual must be able to work the hours specified.
