Job summary

JSK Hospitality in South Bend, IN, is seeking a detail-oriented housekeeper for SpringHill Suites by Marriott standards. You will clean and refresh guest rooms, restock amenities, and ensure safety and cleanliness.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and ability to work weekends/holidays. Prior hotel housekeeping is preferred; training on brand standards provided. Competitive pay and benefits available for eligible full-time associates.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift during shifts.
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Clean and refresh guest rooms to brand standards.
• Strip linen, remove trash, restock amenities and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues and lost-and-found items immediately.
• Follow all safety and chemical-handling procedures.
• Keep cart and storage areas organized.
• Meet daily productivity standards.
• Assist with public areas, laundry, or other duties as needed.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards for suites or extended-stay rooms where applicable.

Job description

Ensure clean, comfortable, welcoming guest rooms and spaces that meet SpringHill Suites by Marriott standards. Pride in detail and teamwork is essential.

• Clean and refresh guest rooms (beds, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, amenities) to brand standards.
• Strip linen, remove trash, restock amenities and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues and lost-and-found items immediately.
• Follow all safety and chemical-handling procedures.
• Keep cart and storage areas organized.
• Meet daily productivity standards.
• Assist with public areas, laundry, or other duties as needed.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards for any suite or extended-stay rooms (kitchens/living areas) where applicable.

Required

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred

• Prior hotel or housekeeping experience.
