Job summary

SpringHill Suites by Marriott is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring guests feel at home and every detail meets brand standards.

You will work with a friendly team, perform daily cleaning tasks, restock supplies, report maintenance issues promptly, and greet guests warmly to enhance their stay. This role requires physical stamina and a commitment to exceptional cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking for an entire shift, and bending, pushing, and pulling regularly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned rooms within the scheduled shift
• Prior housekeeping, cleaning, or custodial experience preferred but not required
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, and replenishing towels and toiletries
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures to brand standards
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors
• Restock in-room supplies such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and stationery
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items to the appropriate department promptly
• Organize the linen closet and restock your cart at the end of each shift to prepare for the next day
• Greet guests warmly and assist with any immediate needs or requests encountered during your shift
