Job summary

JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home in Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Housekeeper. The role offers $16.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience, with PRN shifts scheduled 7:00AM-3:00PM, 5:00PM-11:00PM, including weekend and holiday rotations.

You will keep resident rooms and common areas clean and safe, perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry and waste removal, follow sanitation and infection-control standards, interact with residents with compassion, and promptly report maintenance or

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in resident rooms and common areas, following established sanitation and infection-control standards.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and waste removal.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to facility policies and manufacturer guidelines.
• Interact with residents in a respectful, courteous, and compassionate manner, supporting their comfort and dignity.
• Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or unusual resident concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Comply with all safety regulations, confidentiality requirements, and community policies.
