Job summary

Leonard Florence Center for Living in Chelsea, MA is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in resident rooms and common areas. The role is PRN with 3:00PM – 11:00PM shifts, and pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience.

You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, follow sanitation and infection-control standards, interact with residents, and report maintenance needs to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in housekeeping or senior living preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in resident rooms and common areas, following established sanitation and infection-control standards.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and waste removal.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to facility policies and manufacturer guidelines.
• Interact with residents in a respectful, courteous, and compassionate manner, supporting their comfort and dignity.
• Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or unusual resident concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Comply with all safety regulations, confidentiality requirements, and community policies.
