Job description


  • The student must be able to work a video camera and takephotographs.

  • Students selected are taking either Mass Communications, Businessor Visual and Performing arts at NSU.

  • The student must be creative and have a good eye when takingvideos and photos.

  • Software Skills: - Student should be able to use products in theAdobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere and Adobe Illustrator).

  • Students must have good customer service skills and the abilityto communicate with University clients.

  • Students fill out an application for this position and areselected for this position.


Wage employees are paid an hourly rate for actual hours worked and are limited to working 1500 hours per year and can only work a maximum of 29 hours a week. Work hours must be counted on the basisof the twelve-month period beginning May 1 of each year and April30 of the following year. Wage employees in all agencies (allbranches of government) are limited to working no more than 1500hours during each twelve-month period of May 1-April 30. Should youwork 1500 hours prior to April 30, your services will be terminatedimmediately. You will not be eligible for employment again untilMay 1. It is the responsibility of the employee and supervisor, aswell as the Office of Human Resources, to monitor these hours toensure compliance to policy. Wage employees may not earn leave nordo they have access to the Grievance Procedure process. They arenot covered by the provision of the Virginia Personnel Act and arenot entitled to the benefits afforded employees occupyingclassified positions.
