About the Role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare for each shift.
• Monitor performance during the shift and take corrective action.
• Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards for quality, safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicate with the incoming Shift Manager to facilitate a smooth transition.
• Assist departments in meeting their goals and targets.
• Oversee Food Safety, Internal Communication, Inventory Management, Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness, Crew Management, Quality Food Production, Exceptional Customer Service, Safety and Security, Scheduling, and Training.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
• Passion for working in a fast‑paced environment and ability to have fun on the job.
• Must be 18 years or older.
