Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Corporate Transition General Manager in Richmond, VA to lead a turnaround at one of its hotels. You’ll assess operations, craft a 30/60/90-day plan, and raise guest scores, cleanliness, and brand standards across the property.

This is a permanent, full-time role with benefits. You’ll mentor teams, own the numbers (revenue, payroll, expenses), and partner with senior leaders to move Shamin forward.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as a General Manager, preferably in select-service hotels.
• Proven turnaround results with improved QA scores.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L management.
• Experience with Hilton and Marriott brand standards.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Make an impact fast by assessing each hotel and drafting a 30/60/90-day plan.
• Lead hotels to QA readiness and pass brand inspections across families.
• Improve guest scores by coaching front-line teams to make service a habit.
• Hire, train, and mentor to grow leaders within the company.
• Own the numbers by managing revenue, payroll, and expenses.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on projects to move Shamin forward.
