Job summary

Extended Stay America in San Diego is seeking a Team Lead to assist the General Manager in daily hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and efficient property management. This role may assume GM responsibilities as needed and requires adherence to safety and security procedures.

The Team Lead will support associates, train staff on brand standards, monitor budgets, and help drive revenue while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

Prior hotel experience is required.
Minimum one to three months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

Provide best possible guest experience and resolve issues promptly.
Assist GM to drive revenue, reduce costs and improve guest/associate satisfaction.
Assist in training associates on brand standards and performance expectations.
Uphold company standards and policy compliance at the hotel level.
Monitor guest balances and issue refunds when needed.
Monitor inventory and ensure purchases stay within budget with approved vendors.
Serve as first contact for guest service issues and elevate to GM as needed.
Promote 100% guest satisfaction and professional conduct.
