Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Van Driver to operate hotel shuttle services and support guest needs with safety and courtesy.

Responsibilities include assisting guests, verifying vehicle readiness, and promoting hotel amenities while complying with laws. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid license, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of hotel experience or retail customer service preferred.
• Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 100 pounds; mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver shuttle service to guests and respond promptly to requests.
• Assist guests with luggage during boarding and off-loading.
• Operate the van safely and in accordance with laws and airport rules.
• Promote hotel facilities and provide local information.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain logs; keep vehicle clean.
• Assist in housekeeping/laundry duties as needed; support teamwork.
