Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking an Overnight Van Driver to operate the hotel shuttle safely and courteously, assisting guests with luggage and providing information about local attractions.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to stand, bend, lift up to 100 pounds, and work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. English fluency and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of hotel experience or retail customer service preferred.
• Background in extended-stay hospitality preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English; additional languages are beneficial.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 100 pounds as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Operate hotel shuttle van safely and courteously for guests.
• Assist guests with luggage during boarding and disembarking.
• Promote hotel services and local attractions to guests.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and log mileage.
• Support housekeeping or laundry tasks as needed and coordinate with shifts.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and transportation laws.
