Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for The Westin Waltham Boston area. The role maintains building systems, monitors energy efficiency, and ensures safety for guests and staff.

You will perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep to support a high-quality hotel experience. Responsibilities include servicing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, refurbishing rooms as needed, and assisting with routine repairs.

Qualifications

• Trade-school or military training in building trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Physically able to perform tasks including lifting 25–50 lbs and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks to maintain hotel assets.
• Inspect electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and perform minor repairs.
• Service pool and outdoor maintenance; manage small projects as assigned.
• Maintain and refurbish guest room furniture and fixtures as needed.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests.
