Job summary

Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport is seeking a Security Manager to oversee daily safety operations, lead security officers and supervisors, and respond to emergencies. The role involves auditing key controls, coordinating safety education with senior leadership, and ensuring top-tier guest and staff safety.

Qualified candidates will have 2–4 years in security or related fields and at least 2 years in leadership, with hospitality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of Security, Loss Prevention, or Military/Law Enforcement experience.
• 2+ years of leadership including performance management, scheduling, and training plan development.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, clear and concise communication.
• Technical proficiency with electronic security/surveillance systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations (fire, injuries/medical events, safety concerns).
• Conduct departmental key control audits and maintain key control records.
• Coordinate staff safety education with VP of loss prevention, safety and security and Hotel GM.
• Hire, train, and develop security personnel in alignment to company standards.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and complete regular property patrols for hazards or suspicious activity.
• Conduct incident investigations and file detailed reports promptly.
