Hyatt Regency Louisville is looking for a Safety & Security Officer to protect guests and team members while delivering exceptional service on a bustling downtown property. You’ll monitor the premises, respond promptly to incidents, and maintain a calm, confident presence to ensure a welcoming experience for all visitors.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, rapid risk assessment, and engagement with guests and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in safety or security preferred but not required.
• Certification in Safety and Security Training and/or State Security License with background checks.
• CPR, First Aid and AED from recognized providers.
• AHLA Certified Lodging Security Officer within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safety Ambassador: engage with guests and team to foster a secure, welcoming environment.
• Threat Spotter: identify potential security risks before they escalate.
• Service with Security: deliver friendly, service-oriented interactions with calm confidence.
