Highgate Hotels is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to oversee all security operations at our hotel. You will lead security staff, develop plans, and ensure a safe guest experience. You will collaborate across departments, respond to incidents, and maintain reports and compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in hotel security or a related field.
• Military or law enforcement experience is preferred but not indispensable.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees and guests.
• Must collaborate with all departments to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a respectful, service-oriented manner.
• Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming, including nametags.
• Crisis management experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all security aspects of the daily operation of the Hotel.
• Supervise and train security personnel.
• Develop and implement security plans and policies to protect assets and people at the hotel.
• Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
• Keep immediate supervisor informed of all issues requiring attention.
• Maintain relations with government and law enforcement partners supporting hotel security.
• Prepare and submit required reports promptly.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and requisition procedures.
• Be visible on the floor and assist staff as needed.
• Be involved in and/or conduct departmental and hotel training.
