Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Safety and Security Officer to protect guests and staff, patrol hotel premises, monitor access, and respond to emergencies. You will coordinate with Front Desk, document incidents, and maintain safety in all areas of the property.

Qualified candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, be able to stand for long periods, and handle multiple tasks with discretion and professionalism. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Flexibility for long hours.
• Ability to stand during shift and handle physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Use proper radio etiquette at all times.
• Maintain visual contact with Front Desk/Night Auditor and lobby area.
• Maintain and review daily activity log.
• Maintain confidentiality with respect to guest and employee incidents.
• Hold briefing with Guest Services staff at shift start and end.
• Check ID of visitors/employees as necessary.
• Access secured areas for authorized personnel.
• Assist guests to their rooms according to hotel standards.
• Respond to emergencies including medical and security incidents.
• Investigate assaults and report findings.
• Provide escorts to persons carrying money or other requests.
