Sea Palms Resort, managed by Raines Co., on St. Simons Island, GA, seeks an experienced Sales Manager who can lead a team, drive direct sales, and coordinate banquet and event bookings.

You will train the sales staff, present contracts, and ensure bookings align with the DOS directives to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include responding promptly to leads, coordinating with operations, and meeting weekly BEO and revenue targets.

Competenze

• Two years prior hotel sales, catering manager, or progressive experience in a hotel environment.
• Experience with Delphi FDC and proficient in Microsoft 365.
• Experience with brand's PMS and sales related applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major preferred.

Mansioni

• Develop, update, and achieve goals set on a timely basis.
• Meet company standards of 24 hours on response times to all lead sources.
• Coordinate bookings, create banquet event orders and diagrams, and convey event details to operations.
• Be present for meetings with clients, including weekends when needed.
• Present contracts, BEOs, and booking checks for approval by DOS.
• Collect final guest count and payment seven days prior to event start date with signature.
• Update Amadeus with current information (account status, deposits, proposals, etc.).
• Complete tasks as assigned by the Director of Sales in a timely manner.
• Maintain honest relationships with coworkers and clients.
• Ensure guest services have arrangements prior to group arrival.
• Review catering resumes for valet orders and amenity requests.
• Achieve Sales Goals as outlined by Raines Hospitality.
• Conduct weekly BEO meetings with Managers and Banquet staff.
• Achieve budgeted group rooms revenue and profit.
