Job summary

Montage Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the Sales Office and Group Sales Managers in achieving department goals and objectives. You will provide exemplary service for direct and third-party bookings and help maintain department visibility and client relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and ~2 years of hotel customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while handling accounts and office tasks such

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Two years' experience in customer service in a hotel environment.
• Must be able to read and write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently.
• Ability to establish and master goals.
• Ability to identify and assist in the development of accounts.
• Ability to act independently with minimal or no supervision.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, accounting programs, Microsoft Word, Excel and Delphi.
• Tasks with Delphi will require follow notes and account entries from post trade shows and telephone activity
• Math skills, as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients and their guests, third party and direct bookings.
• Maintain visibility and integrity of our department throughout the resort promoting mutual cooperation in assuring our clients are delivered the service as promised.
• Develop a trusting and long term relationship with our accounts.
• Support Sales initiatives across the Sales Office including daily client service, acting as an "inside sales" contact and liaison handling assisting with group leads in the absence of the sales representative when out of office or traveling.
• Assist in the preparation for travel and tradeshows.
