Job summary

Montage Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the Sales Office and Group Sales Managers in achieving long-term department goals. The role emphasizes exceptional client service for guests, third-party, and direct bookings, while maintaining department visibility across the resort.

The position requires at least two years of hotel customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years’ experience in customer service in a hotel environment.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to establish and master goals.
• Ability to identify and assist in the development of accounts.
• Ability to act independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with basic computational tasks.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Delphi including follow-up notes from trade shows and calls.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and their guests, third party and direct bookings.
• Maintain visibility and integrity of our department throughout the resort promoting mutual cooperation in assuring our clients are delivered the service as promised.
• Develop a trusting and long term relationship with our accounts.
• Support Sales initiatives across the Sales Office including daily client service, acting as an inside sales contact and liaison handling assisting with group leads in the absence of the sales representative when out of office or traveling.
• Assist in the preparation for travel and tradeshows.
