Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication, customer service, listening and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve problems.
• Knowledge of housekeeping standards, room checkout procedures, cleaning supplies, and proper chemical use.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and blood-borne pathogen precautions.
• Ability to stand, walk, push and pull housekeeping carts; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and approve guest rooms, linens and supply storage areas; direct attendants to correct deficiencies.
• Prioritize and update checkout, pickup, and room-discrepancy information; verify status and complete reports.
• Check cleaning equipment and supplies for OSHA compliance and safety.
• Prepare and distribute morning assignment reports; update assignments as needed.
• Assist with guest requests and complaints; coordinate resolutions with team.
• Follow up on maintenance orders and guest requests.
• Lead or guide the work of others and perform related duties as assigned.
