Job summary

Extended-Stay-Hotel in Clearwater, FL seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to clean guest rooms per standards and maintain carts and laundry areas. You will report maintenance issues to the front desk and assist with guest requests when possible.

The role requires following safety guidelines, completing Extended Stay University training, and contributing to overall hotel cleanliness. You may assist in other areas as needed and travel within reasonable geography if required.

Qualifications

• Understand instructions, policies, and guidelines and the ability to engage in effective communication with the manager and staff.
• Understand and follow guidelines, adhere to time objectives, productivity measurements and similar company standards and expectations.
• Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned guest rooms with adherence to company standards, policies and procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas in accordance with company standards.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as needed or directed by management.
• Reports all maintenance issues directly to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
• Reports any remaining guest property in a check-out room to the front desk and manager on duty.
• Assists guests and provides reasonable accommodation in response to guest requests when possible.
• Complies with safety and security policies and procedures.
• Completes all required Extended Stay University training.
• Assists with cleaning other areas of the hotel as assigned by management, including breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells and common areas.
• Responsible for maintaining overall hotel cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
