Job summary

The Madison Concourse Hotel is seeking a Part-Time Server for CIRC, our in-house restaurant. The role supports breakfast and lunch service from 7am-2pm, Tue/Thu/Fri mornings, in Madison, WI.

Expect base+tips with a typical wage of $19–$25/hr and a guaranteed $15/hr, with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction and teamwork. Responsibilities include menu guidance, order relays, dish garnishing, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Restaurant or food and beverage experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present the menu, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and serve courses from the kitchen and service bars.
• Garnish and decorate dishes before serving.
• Observe diners and respond to requests; determine when a meal is complete.
• Total the bill and process payment.
• Ladle soup, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee, and perform other services as necessary.
• Clear and reset counters or tables after each course.
• Wrap silverware and complete other side work.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
