Job summary

Azul Hospitality at Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Server to provide courteous service, greet guests, take orders, describe menu items, and assist with setup and cleaning. You will operate a Micros POS, handle cash or card payments, verify age for alcohol, and ensure beverages and meals are served safely.

This role requires 1–3 years of food service experience, a 21+ age for alcohol service, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One to three years food service experience preferred.
• Micros POS experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a welcoming and friendly manner.
• Take guest food and beverage orders.
• Describe menu items, ingredients, and methods of preparation.
• Suggest menu products to customers.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Verify customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
• Ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages.
• Operate a cash register/POS and receive payment from customers in cash or credit card, accurately counts and provides change to customers as required.
• Assist all guests professionally and courteously, with the highest quality of standards for customer service.
