Job summary

Azul Hospitality at Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Server to provide courteous service, greet guests, take orders, describe menu items, and assist with setup and cleaning. You will operate a Micros POS, handle cash or card payments, verify age for alcohol, and ensure beverages and meals are served safely.

This role requires 1–3 years of food service experience, a 21+ age for alcohol service, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
One to three years food service experience preferred.
Micros POS experience preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a welcoming and friendly manner.
Take guest food and beverage orders.
Describe menu items, ingredients, and methods of preparation.
Suggest menu products to customers.
Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
Verify customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
Ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages.
Operate a cash register/POS and receive payment from customers in cash or credit card, accurately counts and provides change to customers as required.
Assist all guests professionally and courteously, with the highest quality of standards for customer service.
