Job summary

Azul Hospitality Group is hiring at the Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle to provide friendly, efficient food and beverage service. You will greet guests, take orders, describe menu items, and suggest specials while maintaining a clean dining area.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, 21+ years of age for alcohol service, and Safe Server certification. Micros POS experience is preferred, with opportunities for full-time or part-time shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills.
• Must be detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests in a welcoming and friendly manner.
• Take guest food and beverage orders.
• Describe menu items, ingredients, and methods of preparation.
• Suggest menu products to customers.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Verify customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
• Ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages.
• Operate a cash register/POS and receive payment from customers.
• Assist all guests professionally and courteously, with the highest quality of standards for customer service.
