Job summary

Azul Hospitality restaurant seeks a friendly, attentive Food & Beverage Server to provide high-quality service in our hotel restaurant. You will greet guests, take orders, describe menu items, and upsell beverages and dishes, while ensuring legal drinking age rules are followed.

You will maintain cleanliness, reset tables, operate Micros POS, handle payments, and perform opening/closing duties. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English in the workplace.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and customer relations abilities.
• Detail oriented with solid organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS.
• Ability to work with customers and resolve conflicts tactfully and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a welcoming manner and take food and beverage orders.
• Describe menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods; suggest products.
• Clear and reset tables; maintain cleanliness of restaurant areas.
• Verify IDs and ensure laws regarding alcohol service are followed.
• Handle cash and payments accurately using the POS system.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and other duties as assigned.
