Job summary

Azul Hospitality's Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle seeks an Experienced Banquet Server for temporary events. You will serve guests during multi-course functions, assist with setup and breakdown, and uphold high service standards.

Requirements include 1–3 years of banquet experience, high school diploma, age 21+ for alcohol service, and Safe Server certification. Hotel/resort banquet experience is preferred. This role is on-site at Seattle, WA 98101.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of high-volume banquet service experience required.
• Hotel/resort banquet experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ to serve alcohol and have Safe Server Alcohol & Food certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests food and drinks during events.
• Answer questions about buffet or menu.
• Bus and set tables with condiments as needed.
• Assist with event room setup and breakdown.
• Check china, glassware, silverware, and linen items.
• Coordinate with managers about upcoming groups and conventions.
• Follow banquet menus and clarify items as needed.
• Ensure proper food temperature and plating.
• Handle equipment and store properly after use.
• Participate in outlet deep cleaning and guest service excellence.
