Job summary

Residence Inn Orangeburg, a Colwen Hotels property, is seeking an engaging Hotel Operations Supervisor to support Front Desk and Housekeeping operations. You will focus on training, supervising, and scheduling the Front Desk and Housekeeping teams, while supporting the Hotel Manager with administrative duties and acting as MOD.

This hands-on role will also function as a Front Desk Agent and Housekeeper as needed, with varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Two year college degree or hospitality experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with common computer software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interviewing and supervising front office staff.
• Process check-in/check-out, verify billing, create reservations and handle requests.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and Housekeeping for staffing and schedules.
• Support the Hotel Manager with administrative duties and act as MOD.
• Monitor budgets, payroll, and drive continuous process improvements.
