Job summary

Newport Hospitality is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support hotel operations with a focus on Front Office and Housekeeping. You will lead shifts, coach staff, and ensure service standards while promoting a strong service culture across departments.

The role requires prior hotel experience, strong communication, and the ability to supervise across multiple teams. Flexibility with shifts, weekends, and holidays is expected living on-site hospitality operations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hotels specifically with front desk and/or housekeeping required.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Capability to coordinate multiple hotel operations under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a working supervisor, covering shifts and providing hands‑on support across all hotel departments based on operational demands.
• Directly oversees Front Office, daily operations, service standards, staffing, scheduling, coaching, and accountability.
• Assists Housekeeping leadership with guestrooms, public spaces, and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Leads daily team huddles and participates in operations meetings to ensure smooth communication.
• Monitors guest satisfaction and helps resolve guest concerns and service issues.
