Job summary

Circa Las Vegas is seeking a Hotel Supervisor to report to the Hotel Manager and Hotel Director. The role focuses on guest satisfaction, coordinating hotel operations, and ensuring follow-up on assigned projects.

The position requires counseling and training staff, collaboration with Sales/Marketing to maximize occupancy, managing schedules, and overseeing the front desk system. Strong communication and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be twenty one (21) years of age or older.
• Two (2) years of front office supervisory experience is preferred.
• Previous Manager experienced preferred.
• Previous experience in most aspects of hotel operations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Counsels, guides, trains and instructs all employees working in the hotel area in their duties.
• Confers with the sales/marketing department to ensure that the highest room occupancy rates are achieved.
• Usually handles the critical day-to-day hotel functions, including employee schedules.
• Maintains effective and efficient department procedures and controls, and ensures that all departments with the hotel operations are scheduled properly for maximum coverage during peak hours.
• Oversees the front desk computer system and coordinates any necessary modifications.
• Showing special recognition of frequent guests.
• Maintains communication and cooperation with other shifts and departments to keep employees informed of all pertinent information, including sending out a daily newsletter to all employees.
• Handles complaints from employees and guests in a prompt courteous manner.
• Assists the Hotel Manager with operating forecasts and other required departmental reports.
