Job summary

Silverton Casino LLC in Las Vegas, NV seeks an Assistant Hotel Manager to oversee events, operations and staff across hotel departments. You will supervise front desk, back office, transportation, and valet, while ensuring guest satisfaction and policy compliance.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, school degree in hospitality, and a high standard of integrity. You will collaborate across departments and assist the Hotel Manager in security and operations planning.

Qualifications

• BA or BS from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience in Hotel Operations.
• Minimum of five years of supervisory experience.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion; prioritize under competing demands.
• Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with staff, guests, and management.
• Ability to work in a chaotic, multitasking environment while staying organized.
• High level of integrity and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee events, activities and operations in the hotel and ensure policies are implemented.
• Monitor staff tasks, set goals, plan schedules and assignments.
• Handle guests' complaints and compliments; ensure guest relations are strong.
• Ensure events are well organized and guest experiences are exceptional.
• Manage front desk, back office, transportation, and valet to maintain efficiency.
• Assist Hotel Manager with security and coordination of departments.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests; manage guest charges and concerns.
• Lead team meetings and coordinate cross-department collaboration.
• Direct supervisors in GSR departments; perform front/back office duties as needed.
• Maintain payroll, PMS systems, and yield rates with hotel management.
