Cal Poly Pomona Foundation, Inc. seeks an Assistant General Manager to oversee hotel operations, including F&B, guest rooms, and facilities, under the General Manager. You will drive profitability, lead QA, manage staffing, and ensure compliance with brand and safety standards.

You will collaborate with sales and revenue management, monitor KPIs, and develop training programs to improve service and performance. On-site leadership and weekend/holiday coverage required.

Formación

• 2-year College Degree or equivalent and a minimum of three years supervisory experience in a branded, high-quality hotel.
• Working knowledge of hotel P&L management and operating metrics (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, GOP, flow-through).
• Proficiency with hotel property management and reservation systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop, interpret and apply policies and procedures to variety of situations.
• Ability to be resourceful and to take initiative.
• Open to new ideas and adaptable to changing technology.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with all levels of the organization.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure efficient operation and profitability of assigned area(s).
• Forecast financial activity and prepare budgets; analyze P&L against budget and forecast.
• Lead QA audits and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and online reputation; address reviews and improve scores.
• Partner with sales and revenue management on pricing and group business.
• Provide team leadership in operations and customer service.
• Ensure staffing levels meet financial and operational goals.
• Maintain compliance with laws and regulations and Enterprise standards.
• Use KPIs to monitor performance and direct improvements.
• Develop and implement training programs for area.
