Job summary

Holiday Inn Downtown Chattanooga is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance. You will lead and train staff, ensure brand standards, and monitor performance to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required, with the ability to work weekends on a 12:00 PM–8:00 PM shift and manage guest relations and budgets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager in a full-service hotel.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations across front office, housekeeping, and food & beverage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work weekends and the 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM shift.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all operational aspects of the full-service hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Lead, train, and motivate staff to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Monitor daily financial performance and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain positive guest relations.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimize workflow and improve service delivery.
• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
