Job summary

SpringHill Suites in United States, Virginia (Chester) is seeking a Hotel Operations Supervisor to assist the General Manager in directing all hotel departments to maximize revenue and deliver exceptional guest service.

You will train staff, schedule shifts, monitor performance, and support budgeting and safety programs while maintaining brand standards. The role requires strong leadership and guest relations skills to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hotel Management, General Business or Marketing degree preferred.
• Six months to one-year hotel or management experience preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with hotel systems are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training new associates and newly promoted associates.
• Plan, schedule, assigns, directs, and reviews associate’s work.
• Review and approve direct report’s time and attendance records.
• Conduct staff meetings and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Assist General Manager with budgeting, forecasting and profit targets.
• Lead revenue management initiatives to achieve occupancy and ADR objectives.
• address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to improve satisfaction.
• Ensure safety training, PPE usage, MSDS compliance, and OSHA requirements are followed.
• Walk the property to monitor operations and coach team members for improvement.
• Support sales and marketing efforts and communicate selling strategies with RMS tools.
• Perform supervisory responsibilities in the General Manager’s absence.
