Job summary

InTown Suites Chester, Virginia is seeking a General Manager to lead daily property operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and financial performance. You will hire and train staff, manage front desk operations and budgeting, and drive revenue with pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• Recruit, interview and hire property staff.
• Training, development and support of property staff.
• Manage office operations including guest check-in/check-out, money handling, bookkeeping and payroll.
• Ensure and provide excellent guest service.
• Develop expertise on computer operating system.
• Identify and manage repair and maintenance issues.
• Identify capital expenditure needs and assist with projects.
• Identify life/safety issues and inspections; notify supervisor.
