Job summary

Newport Hospitality Group in Malvern, PA, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead day-to-day hotel operations alongside the General Manager and drive guest satisfaction.

You’ll coach front desk and housekeeping teams, monitor daily reports, and ensure safety, service, and brand standards are consistently met.

This hands-on role rewards initiative, teamwork, and visible leadership across the hotel to create a welcoming environment for guests and associates.

Responsibilities

• Lead hotel operations and department leaders, coaching and supporting staff
• Drive guest satisfaction and respond to guest feedback and concerns
• Oversee daily front office, housekeeping, and other hotel operations in partnership with department leaders
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, productivity, and labor costs
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of team members
• Review operating reports, guest feedback, and hotel metrics to inform decisions
• Assist the General Manager with financial performance, budgeting, and planning
