Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC is seeking an Area Assistant General Manager for the Hampton Inn & Suites Buffalo Downtown. Lead hotel operations, support GMs, maintain brand standards and drive guest satisfaction across the property.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of related management experience, strong knowledge of rooms, housekeeping and F&B, and a Bachelor’s degree in hotel management or related field. Includes competitive benefits and room for career growth.

Qualifications

• Two years related management experience and hotel brand knowledge.
• Extensive experience with rooms, housekeeping and food and beverage.
• Working knowledge of hotel operations including security, HR relations, QA and long-range planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in hotel management, business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in standard hotel management systems.
• Hands-on leadership style.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manage hotel operations in absence of GM or as assigned.
• Oversee front office, guest services, housekeeping, maintenance and F&B.
• Lead front desk and F&B staff under supervisory direction.
• Resolve guest concerns while maintaining high Guest Service scores.
• Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.
• Interview, hire, train, appraise performance and coach staff; manage workload.
• Conduct reporting, inventories and accounting related tasks.
