Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Homewood Suites by Hilton/Buffalo-Airport in Cheektowaga, NY. The role supports the General Manager, overseeing hotel operations, guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and HR to uphold the company’s Excellence, Passion, Integrity, and Inclusive culture.

The position requires management experience in a hotel setting, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and involves supervising front desk and F&B staff

Qualifications

• Two years related management experience in a hotel setting.
• Experience with rooms, housekeeping and food & beverage preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expertise in standard hotel management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations in the absence of the General Manager, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, food & beverage and HR.
• Manage front office operations and supervise front desk and F&B staff.
• Resolve guest concerns while maintaining high franchise guest service scores.
• Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.
• Interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, rewarding and coaching employees; planning, directing work, addressing complaints.
