Hampton Inn & Suites Buffalo - Downtown seeks an Area Assistant General Manager to support the General Managers in leading hotel teams and upholding the Buffalo Lodging Associates culture of Excellence, Passion, Integrity and Inclusion.

Qualifications

• Two years related management experience.
• Hotel brand knowledge is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in hotel management, business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expertise in standard hotel management systems.
• Hands-on leadership.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manage hotel operations as needed or when management is absent.
• Oversee facility operations including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, F&B and HR.
• Manage front office operations and supervise front desk and F&B staff.
• Resolve guest concerns while maintaining high guest service scores.
• Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.
• Supervise interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisals, coaching and payroll tasks.
