Job summary

Extended Stay America in Florida is seeking a Team Lead to support the General Manager in day-to-day hotel operations and drive key performance indicators towardGuest satisfaction. The TL will resolve guest and associate issues, supervise associates, and ensure safety and security procedures are followed across the property.

The role requires supervision of 8 to 15 hourly associates, adherence to brand standards, and collaboration with management to maximize revenue and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Acts as first level of contact for guest service issues and resolves or escalates to GM as needed.
• Assists GM in driving revenue, controlling costs, and improving guest and associate satisfaction.
• Trains associates on brand standards and performance expectations.
• Ensures safety and security procedures are followed per company guidelines and standards.
• Monitors guest balances and assists with refund processing.
• Oversees daily operations and inventory, ensuring purchases stay within budget and align with vendors.
• Supports sales-related activities to increase occupancy and market presence.
• Provides front desk coverage and other hotel duties to maintain smooth operation.
