Job summary

The Holiday Inn Express, The Rock - Downtown Spokane seeks a Night Auditor to join our hospitality team in Spokane, WA. You will verify, audit, and reconcile daily financial records, handle reservations and guest inquiries, and produce reports for management.

Excellent customer service and numerical accuracy are essential. Some college is preferred, a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and overnight shifts are available.

Responsibilities

• Verify, audit, and reconcile financial records (room charges, cash drawer, CC transactions, occupancy data).
• Ensure guest satisfaction and smooth overnight service.
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management.
• Assist front desk tasks: reservations, check-ins, guest requests, and issue resolution.
• Handle routine administrative and bookkeeping tasks.
• Able to work overnight shifts.

• Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages
• Make sure every hotel guest has a pleasant stay
• Produce and distribute daily weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management, department heads, and general manager
• Execute front desk clerk duties as required, such as processing reservations and check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed
• Process additional administrative, bookkeeping. and accounting procedures as required
• Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
• Front desk clerk duties, guest services, night auditor or previous hospitality experience is preferred but not required
• Proficiency with computers is required; experience with reservation and accounting software is desired
• Some college is preferred but a high school diploma or equivalent is required

Compensation

18.00 - 20.00 hourly
