Job summary

Hampton Inn Butte is seeking a night auditor who thrives with people and numbers, and who delivers outstanding customer service during overnight shifts. You will perform front desk duties, process reservations and check-ins, assist housekeeping and security as needed, and respond to guest inquiries with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency; familiarity with accounting or reservation software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Flexible overnight shift hours.
• Front desk, hospitality, guest services, or night audit experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to all hotel guests during their stay.
• Handle front desk duties such as reservations, check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests.
• Complete bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as requested.
• Audit and reconcile financial records: cash drawer activity, card transactions, room charges, final bill preparation, occupancy percentages.
• Produce and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management and general manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to all hotel guests during their stay
• Execute front desk clerk duties as required, such as processing reservations and check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed
• Complete additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as requested
• Audit and reconcile all financial records such as cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, room charges, final bill preparation, and occupancy percentages
• Produce and distribute daily weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management, department heads, and general manager

Qualifications

• Great communications. and excellent customer service skills are required
• Computer proficiency is required; experience with accounting or reservation software is preferred
• Diploma or equivalent from high school is required; some college is desired
• Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours
• Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, guest services, or night audit experience is preferred, but not required

Compensation

$16 - $17 hourly
