Job summary

NCG Hospitality at Hyatt House Salt Lake City Downtown is seeking a Night Auditor to support front desk and nightly balance procedures. You will ensure accurate financial records and deliver courteous service to guests during overnight hours.

Greet guests, handle reservations and payments, and compile daily reports while adhering to safety protocols. The role requires overnight availability and a customer‑first mindset with growth opportunities within our award‑winning team.

Qualifications

• Previous Night Audit experience strongly preferred.
• Availability to work overnight and Sundays required.
• Overnights from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. and flexible weekends.
• Commitment to guest service and accuracy in cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Daily audit, balance, post and report on front desk, rooms, and F&B operations.
• Greet and interact with guests in a warm, friendly manner.
• Provide high level service by anticipating guests' needs.
• Promptly handle guest requests and complaints to meet expectations.
• Make reservations, check-in/check-out guests, process payments.
• Answer phones, maintain cash drawer, operate office equipment.
• Ensure guest and property safety by following procedures.

Open to overnight shifts from 11 pm to 7 am

Previous Hotel Night Audit Experience Is Strongly Preferred.

Availability to work overnight shifts and Sundays is required.

All shifts are overnight shifts. Our friendly and attentive Night Auditor is committed to going the extra mile to deliver high-quality service to our guests while performing nightly balancing duties, daily paperwork and shift reports related to the property's business transactions.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Daily audit, balance, post and report on front desk, rooms, and food and beverage cash and credit operations ensuring accuracy of the property's financial and accounting records
• Greet and interact with guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner
• Provide highest level of service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests’ needs
• Promptly handle guest service requests and guest complaints to meet and exceed guest expectations
• Make reservations, check‑in and check‑out guests, process payments
• Perform tasks such as answering phones, maintain a cash drawer, operate office equipment
• Ensure guest and property safety by knowing all safety, security and emergency procedures

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Bring

• Ability to work overnight from 11:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
• Understanding of general accounting practices and ability to compile facts and figures
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivated to maintain excellent customer service reputation
• Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-up abilities
• Ability to be patient and creatively problem solve
