The Tru by Hilton Madison West is seeking a Hotel Night Auditor to balance nightly transactions and prepare reports. The overnight shift runs from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with responsibilities including postings, front desk tasks, and guest interactions to ensure accurate records.

Qualifications

• Overnight shift experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting practices and balance sheets.

Responsibilities

• Daily audit, balance, post and report on front desk, rooms, and F&B cash and credit operations.
• Greet and interact with guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
• Provide highest level of service by anticipating and responding to guests’ needs.
• Promptly handle guest service requests and complaints to meet expectations.
• Make reservations, check-in/check-out guests, and process payments.
• Answer phones, maintain a cash drawer, and operate office equipment.
• Ensure guest and property safety by knowing safety and emergency procedures.

Open to Overnight shifts from 11 pm to 7 am

All shifts are overnight shifts. Our friendly and attentive Hotel Night Auditor is committed to going the extra mile to deliver high-quality service to our guests while performing nightly balancing duties, daily paperwork and shift reports related to the property's business transactions. How do I make an impact on my team?

Daily audit, balance, post and report on front desk, rooms, and food and beverage cash and credit operations ensuring accuracy of the property's financial and accounting records

Greet and interact with guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner

Provide highest level of service by anticipating, listening attentively, and responding promptly to guests’ needs

Promptly handle guest service requests and guest complaints to meet and exceed guest expectations

Make reservations, check-in and check-out guests, process payments

Perform tasks such as answering phones, maintain a cash drawer, operate office equipment

Ensure guest and property safety by knowing all safety, security and emergency procedures

Understanding of general accounting practices and ability to compile facts and figures
